ABOUT
I have over 28 years of experience in the architectural design profession, starting in experimental single family residential opening Sintesi Design after receiving my master’s degree in Architecture. Our first project was design build winning an award in Metropolitan Home magazine, so it was the first of more projects we designed and built ourselves. After that, I worked in restaurant design, taught design studios at Woodbury
University and Parsons New School for Design in NYC working with grad students in the Design Workshop studio providing design and construction for a non-profit client.
I found my mission in life to help students become expert learners when I began working at Fielding Nair International in 2009 as a Senior Designer on innovative learning environments for K-12 clients all over the globe. I enjoyed collaborating with different cultures and learning about different pedagogies, acting as a cross pollinator of great ideas for place-making. My role included planning, designing and project management for Pre-Design through Design Development. I continue to enjoy co-creative processes with clients stretching their vision and aligning that with what is possible in each context.
